Septic System Information for Homeowners
The West Almanor Community Services District (WACSD) has been tasked by the State of California to monitor local septic systems and serve as a source of related information for homeowners. To that end, an overview briefing on residential septic systems has been prepared and is found at this LINK.
As septic tank inspections and pumping occur, homeowners need to contact WACSD to provide updated information on such activity. This can be done by sending an e-mail to septic@westshorefire.net with the following information:
(a) address of the parcel, (b) name of property owner, (c) type of work done (e.g., tank pumping), (d) date the work was performed, (e) name of contractor performing the work, and (f) any septic problems noted (e.g., cracked tank, clogged pipe, etc.)
